Vice-Chancellor Dr Snehalata Deshmukh’s proposal to grant a two-year extension to M S Kambli as professor-cum-director of Institute of Distance Education was not fully accepted by the Mumbai University Management Council on Thursday. The proposal was amended and MC members were requested to consider the proposal for allowing Kambli as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for a year from May 1.
