The Defence Minister, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Saturday, a sharp drop in designing a mechanism by which management of modern techniques can be used for training people in public administration and those who serve the public services for effective management and adequate supply systems public welfare.

Mukherjee said the underlying objective of the Government of different systems of social protection and as such, the profitability of investments in projects of social security was not the only investment criteria of effectiveness. However, subject to considerations of social security, it is absolutely necessary for optimal use of fiscal and human resources to use in such projects.

Mr. Mukherjee completed the Institute for the sustainability of its ongoing efforts to manage mixed with years of social security and said the Institute was an event to be fit, as a “university”.

In his speech, Professor Satya Sadhan Chakraborty, West Bengal Minister of Higher Education, commended the Institute for the constant improvement of the quality of their training offer existing and new courses in line with market requirements.

In the context of the occasion, the chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Dr. Pratap Chandra Chunder, said the board of the Institute’s programmes has raised questions in the fields of economy and social development.

Talking to Calcutta Times, the principle of the Presidency College, Amitabha Chatterjee, said that the workshop would be a part of its new program to modernize the IAS in teaching centers in the city, which had a decline in the student population in recent years, in conjunction with a poor performance.

Currently, there are four centres in Kolkata: Presidency College, Ashutosh College, College Basanti Devi and the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.
