HYDERABAD: Syndicate Bank has announced the availability of application forms for admission into the TA Pai Manipal Institute of Management from five of the bank’s Zweige sich in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
In a press release, the bank said were the application forms of TA Pai Institute’s two-year residential program on PG diploma on management.
The Branchen selling the applications in the twin cities include Abid Road, Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, SD Road and Picket. The bank would collect Rs 1000 per application form for general category and Rs 750 for SC and ST Kandidatinnen on production of proof. The forms of sale would Weiterbildung till November 30 this year, the release said

Manipal, November 23 - MUSHROOMING school management, the dependence on Western models, without relevance of education for Indian conditions and Faculty inexperienced in most B-schools came to the discussion in a workshop on the theme “Management Education: Quality and Competitiveness”, organised by the Manipal Institute of Management as part of the “Bremen meets Manipal” program Bremen University of Applied Science in Manipal recently.
Ting Presenting a paper on “Management Education: Issues and Challenges”, Dr Francis Cherunilam the School of Management Studies of the Cochin University of Science and Technology, said that the number of private-B, the only recognized school by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) rose from 30 in 1990 to 500 in 2000. Although the spread of the Management Institute at random was bad for health and, to some degree, it has many facets and dimensions healthy too.
On the lack of faculty of management, he said a lot of teachers, newly established firms, B-schools are graduates of MBA from sub-standard, not institutions proper management of education.
Limited exposure of students to real situations industry is a general weakness in the management of training, he said.
Dr Cherunilam proposed that AICTE and the University Grants Commission must set a higher standard in terms of faculty and B of the infrastructure for schools. Affiliated B-schools wishing to attain high stature and status should be autonomous and dynamic, he added.
Prof. N. Divakar Rao, Head of the Section of Management Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shimoga, in a speech on the “renovation: the need of the hour rejuvenation management training in India,” said management of schools should focus on producing Manager globally competitive, companies are working effectively and to become familiar with the challenges of the Indian economy and industry.
According to him, the greatest weakness of the Indian management training is the inability for the benefits of the cultural heritage of India and develop a curriculum for the Indian context. Indian management of the education system depends on Western equipment for teaching, without verification of their relevance to the objectives, needs and problems faced by the leaders of the Indian society.

BANGALORE, Nov. 25. How schools can best a B-Ware (MBA) to the user (industry)? Management Institute are aware that the industry needs? These were some of the issues which were raised by teachers and practitioners in the industry-B schools interaction conference here.
Five management schools - Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, LSC-Institute for Educational Management and Research, Belgaum, SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore, TA Pai Management Institute, and Xavier Manipal Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore - In a collaborative effort brought a document which also reviewed the recommendations to the industry and academia.
The document has five areas in which a useful partnership can be developed between the parties concerned: the context of the development of the knowledge base through the high quality of research, development of the Faculty of intra-industrial development qualifications and skills of the students through projects solving problems, the development of appropriate programmes, setting up chairs, major research projects, etc.
With regard to the document, Mr. S. Gopalakrishnan, Joint Managing Director, Infosys, advised schools to B, for a greater role in higher education and earth science. “As councils, the participation of young graduates should be more important,” he said.
He also, schools advice on the distribution of the curriculum into two parts: general issues, which remain unchanged and specific options are regularly reviewed and adjusted based on market conditions.
