KOVAI KALAIMAGAL College of Arts and Science opened its FUENTS’06 Management Association. PR Muthusamy, dean of the Institute for Health and management of the hospital, KMCH, was the guest conductor.
He spoke of the importance of communication skills in the Emerging World Business.
Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya organised a programme to focus on education and childcare, for parents of the KG. Dr Anand, a psychiatrist and Dr S. Anuja Panicker, psychologist, PSG hospitals delivered a lecture on children’s education and childcare. It was an interactive session, and their parents have doubts experts.
Youth of the Red Cross SNS College of Technology and the Red Cross legend Coimbatore blood bank and research share a blood transfusion centre-Camp.
About 250 students donated blood. Dr. Rajeev Roy, organiser of the project and T. Sivakumar, Youth Red Cross, Program Officer, thanked the laboratory technician and the team of volunteers to launch a sense of social responsibility of students through blood donation.

SRI JAYENDRA Saraswathy Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science opened the Student’s Council and Department associations. P. Murugasamy, Assistant Commissioner of Police, law and order (East), spoke about the importance of discipline and the need for quality. The special guest of the day, p. Bhaskaran, inspector of police, told students to be aware of their responsibilities in life.
The convening for the year 2004 graduates of the University of SNMV of art and science took place in the Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College, Malumachampatti. P. Sivasubramanian, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bharathiar was the guest conductor. In his convocation address, Mr Sivasubramanian advise graduates that education was an indispensable components of human resource development. It motivates them to work hard, learn, communicate regularly and effectively.
The Department of MCA, VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and Technology organized a national symposium at the technical level “Catena’05. It included the presentation of paper, C-debugging, gambling and marketing. Shashidhara Mr. Dongre, AGM, Larsen and Tourbo Info Tech, Bangalore, Ouvrira the symposium. He talked with students about the importance of industry projects and work ethics. More than 200 students from various schools attended the symposium.

The Department of Commerce of the Sankara College of Science and the Chamber of Commerce is organizing an exhibition. Kumaraswamy, director of coeducation Collegiate, in his inaugural speech said that there is sufficient employment opportunities in the sector of information technology, but want it lacks the necessary skills. He stressed the need to prepare students from technical universities and communication skills. THE KONGUNADU Arts and Science College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Advanced Center for Energy, Mexico. PJ Sebastian, Director, Centre for Energy, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM), delivered a briefing on the evaluation of intellectual property and laboratory resources available to the university to enter un-cum - university research partnership between the university and the centre. He spoke also of devices with manufacturing techniques of nano-materials and improve energy efficiency of vehicles, fuel cells.

Thirukumaran p., director of Coimbatore VOC zoo, spoke of the need to promote respect for the environment and informed the public to plant more trees.

A two-day workshops on “The preparation of an application by Focus career in Business Management and Commerce” was held on PSGR Krishnammal College for Women. P. Sivasubramanian, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bharathiar, was the guest conductor.
Twenty-five participants from schools affiliated Bharathiar University attended the workshop.
