Sept Shell Indians earn scholarships.
Students have seven sacks in India from 86 years of Shell scholarships for 40 countries for the years 2004-05.
The winners of higher education in the south are: A. Srilakshmi Arcot (Bangalore); Najeeb Mohammadali Kuzhiyil (Mangalore); Ragavendra Prasad Balegedde and Lakshmanan Madan Kumar (Chennai).
Inflows scholarship to deserving students throughout the world and offers, in collaboration with universities like Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh, Durham, Leeds, Imperial College, London, University College, London, University of Twente, Netherlands and ‘Technical University of Delft, Netherlands.
Srilakshmi, an engineer in environment, their ambition, a researcher in the field of sustainable development, with a master’s courses at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Najeeb, an engineer of technical services of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited, joins the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, masters in combustion engines and energy.
Ragavendra, is currently working with Carborundum Universal Ltd as an intern to a project, follow his ambition, a chemical technology researchers with a master’s courses at the University of Twente, Netherlands.
Madan, a researcher and project manager with the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, it is subject Masters in telecommunications engineering at the Technical University of Delft, Netherlands.
The other three winners are Mahesh Pandey (Gurgaon), Ritu Kanotra (Delhi) and Ramya Srinivasan (Netherlands).
Announcement of the winners, Shailaja Sharma, Director - Foreign Affairs, Shell India, said: “Shell fellows come from different disciplines, starting with engineering and telecommunications transport, exploitation of the economy and sustainable development. The scholarships are helping them develop their dreams and an international perspective on topics of their choice and, finally, back as a leader of professionals. ”
