Deshmukh did not wish to talk about the matter as the Management Council meetings are confidential. But sources admit that Kambli had been appointed as an OSD. Manhas said: “I am happy with the MC’s decision as it has ensured that deserving academicians have a chance to try for the director’s post whenever advertises for .”
