The world renowned Cranfield School of Management in the UK will present a scholarship to any member of the three leading IFAC accountancy bodies in Sri Lanka, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka (ICASL) or the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Sri Lanka Branch (CIMA). Full Time MBA Programme Director Sean Rickard who informed Sri Lanka of the scholarship said, “We hope the scholarship attracts candidates who will benefit from this initiative and that, with the help of the accounting bodies in Sri Lanka, it will raise Cranfield’s profile. We are extremely grateful for the support of the institutes in this. We will be reviewing the success of the programme after two years.”

Mumbai, February 2 (PTI) India, the federal Department of power and the USA Agency for International Development (USAID) for Reliance Energy Ltd’s Management Institute to undertake training programs in the reform of the distribution , Updates and management (drum) project.

Pune: A team of seven senior officials of the Indo-french Research Advisory Committee and the Embassy of France in India, visit the Science and Technology Park (STP) at the University of Pune on Thursday to explore cooperation programmes in the fields of technology and protection of intellectual property rights (IPR).

Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC) has an agreement with Oracle India Pvt Ltd, an e-Governance Center of Excellence in Kolkata.
The idea behind the initiative is to create a white paper on the status and prospects of e-governance in the country.
When you’re finished, the White Paper is the Department of Information Technology, Government of India.
According to informed sources, starting by five professors from the IIMC would be in relation to the project, and could be increased at a later stage, depending on demand.
The sources said IIMC has decided to offer management development programmes.

In a move to schools on tribal, Bharti Foundation, New Delhi, and Xavier Institute for Sozial-Service (XISS) built a six-room primary schools in the hilly regions and the strains of the State.
