In a non-descriptor village in a regional capital, Bhubaneswar has come a long way over the past five decades. But she?
Grappling for a balance between tradition and modernity, the city does not have the security of a small town, or the comfort of a thriving metropolis.
In spite of three government and two private hospitals, the decrease of patients in Bhubaneshwar is even more dangerous. All hospitals, the lack of medical facilities and bio are available. There is no medical university and patients are forced to travel Cuttack at an affordable price for the treatment. In the case of great suffering, it’s in New Delhi, Hyderabad or Vellore for the hopeless.
Establishments are sufficient training. Apart from the Xavier Institute of Management, the city is home to the Institute of Kalinga for the technical operation, Regional College of Management, and many other higher education institutions private, engineering and management. The Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology is also here. Utkal University, the largest university in Orissa, has evolved over the years, deserves praise for his performance. But too late, it is necessary to beat the competition nationally by the obsolete curriculum, financial constraints and lack of staff.
The labor market is also bleak since the government has frozen the recruitment almost. NGOs and local authorities, the new leads for the job search, but is not sufficient for the demands of the unemployed. A character to five, the salary for starters unthinkable.
