The scientists, companies of State and Government, Heads of IIM-K for the annual meeting

Kozhikode: Management experts from the business community and schools in the Corporate World met in the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) for the Ninth Annual Meeting of the Forum on strategic management (SMF).

The SMF is a consortium of IIMS and other Top-Level Management-schools, including XLRI, MDI, IIFT and IIFM aimed at the improvement and enhancement of overall strategic management skills.

IIM-K presspersons director Krishna Kumar said in advance, a convention meet here Wednesday that over the years, the Convention has merged the leadership and management of teachers in the country Top Business Schools and businesses.

IIM-K’s Board of Governors AC Muthiah president opened the meeting on Thursday. Referees of the Convention include G. Rajmohan, chairman, State Pollution Control Board; Shan Karan p. Raghuram, CEO, Blue Shift, Shekhar Choudhry, director, IIM Calcutta; Apte, director, IIM Bangalore; SRC Murthy, former director IIM-Bangalore; Amtab Kumar, Director General, Competition Commission of India, Rahul Goswamy, Ranbaxy , Vijay Angadi, general manager, ICF ventures participation; SK Kalia, General Manager, Bank of Baroda, and Mr. Ayyappan, chairman and CEO, Hindustan Latex.

Professor Kumar, said the SMF has contributed to management standards of teachers in schools. Sahay, Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, was also discussed at the press conference, said some participants in programs for senior teachers and management in northern India in recent times have come of South India, including Kerala.

“This is a healthy development because it demonstrated interest on the part of the management of new schools in improving the capacities of members of their faculty,” he said.

Professor Kumar said the growth of information technology, Internet connectivity and development of road infrastructure and air connectivity between Kozhikode and other subways are improving IIM-K’s Rating as a place of important event for program management.

The IIM-K, which was founded in 1996, is a senior IIMS ranked in the country. The Institute has its strength and students, offers management development programmes (MDP) and the Faculty Development Programme (RDP).

IIM-K was also a pioneer in online interactive training programme DistancE (IDL).

His extensive than 100 hectares, the picturesque campus is considered one of the best in the country. “The IIM-K campus is so attractive that the time has come for educational institutions are beginning to think the evolution of the concept of academic tourism,” said one expert on the management of northern India, east IIM-K to the Convention SMF.
