This centre will mainly focus on designing and developing content for Knowledge Horizon’s e-Learning courseware. This centre was opened as part of the vision of the President of Knowledge Horizon, Dr. Ma’en Al Qatamin to provide training to individuals anywhere and at anytime. Opening of Knowledge Horizon E-Learning Pvt. Ltd in India is the first major step forward in the direction towards the major goal of spreading education.
The new office is almost 3100 sq. ft surrounded by the lush green trees which is appropriate for content development and creativity. It is located in Pune, close to the western coast of India; around 155 kms from Mumbai, the business capital of the country. The office premises are in the heart of the city in a place called Shivajinagar. It is in close vicinity to some of the renowned educational institutions of Pune such as Pune University, Fergusson College, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Institute of Management, Development and Research (IMDR) where students come from all over India and abroad to pursue higher studies. Because of its popularity for education, Pune is known as Oxford of East. Dr. Ma’en in his last visit to Pune office reacted ‘This is a nice, quiet place, conducive to creative thinking and working.’
The content development team in India is a dynamic team of individuals that come from diverse educational and working backgrounds besides bringing years of e-Learning experience with them. They specialize in designing and developing training programs for global audiences in a variety of subjects.
The India team will be the starting point of developing courseware for Knowledge Horizon and then will work in coordination with the branch in Jordan, where the production will be completed. The work here will include all content sourcing, designing and development.

Symbiosis International Educational Centre (SIEC) is opening its first campus outside Pune, Delhi, during the next year. “For the Delhi Campus, the university has identified a 4-acre plot in Dwaraka that will start with its Law College, for which students will be enrolled on the basis of a national-level common entrance test,” said Dr S. B. Majumdar, Founder President and Director, Symbiosis. Dr Majumdar was the Head of the Botany Department of Fergusson College. He started Symbiosis at his residence promoting the welfare, education and hospitality for both Indian and foreign students.

The University grants the status of this year, the symbiosis International Education Centre at the opening of a new campus in the capital next year.
The only outside Pune University campus now plans to open new branches in Oman, Mauritius and Thai country. A four hectares of land has already been Dwarka College of Law, registration of students by a common entrance test, after an announcement by the University of here and now. The only campus outside Pune as of now, the University also plans to open new branches in Oman, Mauritius and Thailand. A four-acre plot has already been identified in Dwarka for the Law College, which will enrol students through a common entrance test, according to an announcement by the University here today. The areas of focus as far as its international campuses go would be undergraduate and post graduate courses apart from those on the lines of management development programmes.
With over 30,000 students pursuing 112 courses through its 26 institutions, the Symbiosis Institute claims to educate some 49,000 non-resident Indians through its Centre for Distance learning. The Institute is the brainchild of S.B. Majumdar, who headed the Botany department of Fergusson college for nearly 20 years. It was established in 1971 as the Symbiosis International Cultural and Educational Centre in Pune to promote friendship, co-operation and understanding between Indian and foreign students.
The institute currently imparts courses ranging from human resource development, foreign trade, mass communication, arts and commerce, telecommunication and information technology among others.
