This is supported by a grant from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Winrock International works in tandem with Winrock International India (DS) and the Institute of International Education (IIE)) in the management of the SARI / Energy-Small Grants Program.
The SARI / Energy scholarships are a competitive basis for local non-for-profit organization for the implementation of initiatives, the promotion of cooperative research in the field of energy and the promotion of labour in South Asia .
These should be able to trade issues and barriers regional and / or critical common problems and challenges facing the energy sector in the region. Eligible countries are India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal.
Under this program, Winrock International, a request for proposals (RFP) for projects aimed at promoting regional cooperation on issues of mutual regional concerns in the energy sector. A project proposal EMC was one of them.

The EMS approach was also remarkable for minimal intervention and affordable.
To complement and delivered in March next year, the project would be a premium on achieving the stated goal of reducing energy consumption, it would be a direct contribution to reducing emissions of greenhouse gases.
Thiruvananthapuram expert on the basis of research and development of CMS would be computer as a consultant for the project. According to Mr. Hari Kumar, EMC, try to focus on its past experience with the development and operation successfully support energy management, systems such as temperature monitoring system and warning (TMAS) in the glass industry traditional cluster Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.

“Asia must recognize that the oil and gas in Asia is already, which was the coal and iron ore in Europe, there are a few decades, then one of main founders of the European Union, “said Aiyar, while students at the Xavier Institute of Management (XIM) here on the future of the energy sector in India. “Organizing Committee of the Asia Oil and Gas, the community was the need of the hour, as it can be the starting point for the establishment of a union in Asia, he said.
Aiyar said he had convened a meeting of oil ministers of China, Japan and South Korea at New Delhi on November 25, intent on cooperation for access to oil.
The fact that all kinds of exercises were established on India, in order to reduce dependence on oil, he said in the current scenario, crude oil was the result of “market economy ridiculous, the management performance of graduates. “How do you explain the fact that Saudi Arabia, its crude oil in the Caribbean and in offering free on board (FOB) price and then extends a deduction on most of us, “Aiyar asked.
But Asian countries, the purchase of two-thirds of the crude oil production in the Arab world, were invited to pay a premium, while those in the rest purchased one third of its production, was granted a discount. “It is quite illogical, but you bite into malic acid,” said the minister.
Russian Oil production, “said Aiyar, has been taken over and India could it access to a course of the decade at the time. India’s dependence on imports of crude oil was present in 76%, probably upwards of 90 percent by 2030.
Oil prices, which sank nearly 60 dollars a barrel at present, has been supported by speculation about the leader “irrational situation,” he said.
The assertion that there would be no shortage of oil by 2025, he not even a barrel of oil lost by terrorism, as many development plans and oil producing countries could take charge of supply on or before that date.
“It’s a market that can be manipulated,” he told the American agency for the addition was the region least affected by the price increase.
Sheikhs oil were in the process of earning money, inflated oil prices, but the same have been filed in the United States.
Accordingly, the United States is not the penalty was amended by migration as what they lost in the deposit account current, as well as in the capital, he said.
In this situation, it is useful for India, for the search of oil and gas outside the country, by agreements, “said Aiyar. Saudi Arabia, oil would have assured the minister, the possible increase of the meeting of the Inde’s crude demand, but there was the need to diversify and move towards new sources such as “We should not all our eggs in one basket. ” The country of gas demand, or 400 million cubic meters per day in 2025, for which the country to explore all possibilities for access to advanced neighbourhood.
“We will not be able, a growth rate of 7-8 percent, if we do not import natural gas as our national production is from 150 to 200 million cubic meters per day” , he said.
Aiyar hope that the formal tripartite agreement with Iran and Pakistan for the pipeline project would be signed at the beginning of next year.
It was also to rope in countries such as Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazhakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan, for adequate availability of gas.
The European Union said the Minister, he would visit China for talks, so that the two countries could be mutually reinforcing, where this partition. “We need to discuss it, so that their deep pockets can complement our dishes.” The availability of gas was decisive, what coal was, until 19 century, crude oil and until 20 century, natural gas would be for the 21st Century. Seven per cent of the country, the demand of the energy sector from natural gas have been met, and now their share of the energy basket is likely to increase by 20 percent by 2025, he added .
