Good response to women micro-enterprises
Kozhikode: efforts on strengthening the position of women and the fight against poverty have been widely disseminated by drawing attention. The case illustrates the economies of developing sustainable innovative Coconut - Based micro-enterprises and the overall growth of the fight against poverty (Subicsha), implemented by the panchayats Perambra block by the district court Agency for Rural Development, a project designed with the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode.
Women of all self-help group managed micro-enterprises curiosity triggered by a Team USA, who during a visit to India.
The team composed of scientists and technicians, on Monday was Subicsha around coconut defibring, soap, units and training centres managed by women entrepreneurs and have been impressed by the initiative.
Subicsha innovative is a special project of the Union for the Government Kozhikode circle with a total cost of Rs.1401 lakhs under the Swarna Jayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY).
The objective is the economic and social development of over 7000 women, who under the poverty line by creating micro-enterprises, dissemination, over a period of seven grama panchayats for the production of value-added products nuts coconut.
