IISWBM unveils disaster management.
Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) reveals, of course, a unique testimony on disaster management on Monday. The rate expected to continue until December 15 covers all types of disasters, including the nature, technology and industry, and even biological disasters.
“The new course is not only directed at preparing humans for prevention of disasters, but also for disaster mitigation. It is specially designed for all activities related to pre-disaster, disaster preparedness and phase after phase of the disaster Management, “Profiles SP Mukhopadhyay, a professor in charge of disaster management programme, said at the inauguration.
“Hazard Mapping-risk, land use planning, rapid assessment of needs, resources and, of course, the hotel, are other aspects in the course,” he added.
This course is the participation of specialists 25-30, with the help and support services to the public and the private sector. “It is the representation of police and firefighters, NGOs and the PWD, among other things,” said Professor Mukhopadhyay.
According to Professor Mukhopadhyay, the course is provided by the support of WHO, UNDP and the Government of India. “From next year, we can also consider offering this course as a graduate program,” said Professor Mukhopadhyay.
