IIM-A Director Bakul Dholakia said they hätten””ernsthaft followed by the proposal to establish a campus in Mumbai.
”Our plan was to one year Post-Graduate Programme for executives,”he said. But,”the status of reservations for students has been very contrary to the principle of IIM.”
After IIM-A-sources, the government has had to be dropped for their reservation request to 5 percent.
But the institute did not change its decision and said it would have the same Gujarati students in Ahmedabad, it was not.
”The talks ended in early 2003. But after that, that the “silence of the dead.” Absolutely no correspondence took place between the government and the IIM-A … It is a closed chapter,”Dholakia said.
