The protest began the season with “Save education” campaign
Erzürnt by privatization efforts of higher education in the country, AIFUCTO (All India Federation of University College and professor of organizations) and FEDUCTA (Association of Universities funds Teachers’ Associations) have launched a campaign ‘Save Education ” . The campaign began in possession of a dharna outside the UGC office.
More than 1000 teachers across the country gathered to protest against what they claim is the creeping privatization, opening the doors of foreign universities, subversion of the secular nature of education and the attack on teachers ” Conditions of service and entitlements.
She also requested an increase in the allocation of public investment in education and basic education compulsory, with the exception of a ban on foreign universities.
The teacher argued that the UGC and the HRD ministry began, the squandering of public funds by launching currently playing on art, astrology and karamkand, shrinking resources for laboratories and libraries.
