Bunking class is the college!

Pune, May 14: “ You want to play truant - It’s fine.”

This position has been hard Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM). He proposed a powerful sum of more than 50 years, MBA final MPM and students, who are not their mandate, will not be granted, and the lot is not unlucky for the situation seem to be the examinations from May 16.

When contacted SIBM director PraMod Dr Kumar admitted that fines ranging from 1000 to 3500 RS has been established. “ If students internships to ensure the participation they stop classes and to ensure, academic standards, the fine is a deterrent for the future for the treatment of the lot is not easy semester,”he averred.

Last year MBA II and III MPM students were shocked to learn the fine was on the board, on May 9. The fines were imposed in consideration of the cumulative participation from January to April. Students with a number of participants is less than 50 per cent of a fine, R 3500, while those with a number of participants between 50 and 60 per cent up coughing R 2000. Students with a number of participants between 60 and 70 per cent of the fine of Rs 1000

While disadvantaged students have a written complaint to the University of Pune authorities, on condition of anonymity, she déliré about the injustice of the fine. In its memorandum to the university, students have said that fixing fines against it was an aberration, inhuman and cruel in order to collect money under the pretext of lack of participation.

They calculated that the whole system of marking attendance was wrong and, although first a list of more than 90 students April was the final list of entries to 50 odd students. In highlighting the differences between the two lists, students have reported instances where a student, even if the USA, it was revealed that 26.67 percent attendance. Similarly, in the case of other students leave school during the first half, and not reporting for other classes, it was 9.38 percent a presence.

Refund door ajar for IIMS

The Centre said B, private schools, they must repay each student changes his mind after admission and the desire to leave.

The move is to prevent private institutions redemption on the IIM uncertainty about the cinema of fear and simplicity of 4000 to 5000 students Trapped in the Other Backward Classes rate tussle.

With the development of human resources of the Department of IIMS arrested with the announcement of his general category of attendance lists cinemas today, many of the inscriptions of students is expected to leave to private schools-B.

“We are losing the cream of students,” an IIM official said Thursday.

The IIMS and students know that later, when the court cancels the stay on the coast, paves the way for the admissions process, students wishing to return to IIMS.

This means in general, are losing huge sums that have paid the private institutes whose annual fees can be anything between R 1 and R 3 lakh lakh, comparable with the IIMS. The Government of the return of dictation, with the threat of recognition, if rebellious, deals with this problem.

The directive applies to a large number of public and private schools and B-Engineering Institute. It was adopted by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), a law governs the government, technical facilities, universities and higher education institutions, but not the IITS and IIMS.

The notification said the reimbursement must be an institution of the total money, if a student before his admission at the beginning of the academic session, only a net service fee not exceeding 1000 RS

If a student ends after the session starts, and if the seat occupied by another candidate, the establishment is always the return of the bond to be deducted, but the monthly fee studies youth hostel and booking fees.

The statement also indicates an institute can not maintain a school Student’s original, if he wants to leave.

The Council, in its regulations are mandatory and failure to comply may result in the withdrawal of approval and recognition. ”

“The AICTE is clean, the steps necessary for the implementation of these markets on the basis of complaints filed by persons concerned,” said Council.

She said he had received complaints that schools and technology universities has been the admission of students well before the beginning of a scientific meeting.

Jobs, still a grim reality

Bloßen addition of seats among the various windows Pool failed to meet the needs engineering aspirants. The lack of quality education which has forced many of them, for what is in supply.

Few customers: the end of consulting, engineering places are likely to go abegging that parents and students are not many high schools offer specialized quality education.

Promises of technology, one seat for each candidate, it seems that if a minimum of 10,000 seats are likely to engineering in the future freely, if the missions board for cinema in the only system to close the window September in the first week.

The seats are not occupied, a clear imbalance between supply and demand, education experts say, despite more students for training as an engineer this year, vacancies would always be a reality, especially because the quantity of seats in the tender is not correlated with the quality of education, causing many students to make a statement.

As always, the last Friday of 85000 candidates have been as many as 16670, absented advice.

“More and more universities offer seats for Window sections not necessarily mean that the system has been adjustments to meet the needs to be covered. The reason why so many seats remain unfilled because many colleges voluntarily only seats They could not be met otherwise. Unless the government shows clearly that the vacancies will not be back on the management of the pool, history will continue, a former director of engineering attendance cinemas said.

Truancy appears to have peak in the second phase of consultation, when authorities say Anna University, all day to vote by correspondence amounted to nearly 40 per cent. Last Wednesday, 46 percent had requested the meeting remained far.

“The students become familiar with the institutions and not as progress. This explains why colleges in urban areas and cities such as Chennai Coimbatore filled seats in an extraordinary pace,” said Jayaprakash Gandhi, an advisor of education.

Branches in which all the seats were occupied, agriculture and irrigation, engineering, technology, clothing, electrochromic technology, ceramics, technology, electrical and electronic equipment Engineering (sandwich course) geomatics, industrial biotechnology, Industrial Engineering, leather and technology, materials sciences, mining, manufacturing, engineering (sandwich-Cours), chalets, petrochemical, oil refining and petrochemicals, technology, techniques manufacturing (sandwich course) and the printing technology.
The less privileged

Among the less privileged are the mode of technology, biotechnology, textile technology, food technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering polymers and technology.

In the branch of circuit courts, electrical equipment and electronic engineer was the favourite with no less than many customers in 69 institutions of higher education. Of a total of 9625 seats available in electrical and electronic equipment, only 4751 have been filled as last Tuesday.

Techies’ views

This is the time of year when students across the country to push Delhi University Admissions to cinemas in the various sub-graduate courses.

While the university offers more than 35000 places in the regular market of 5000 places and vocational training, the number of candidates is in lakhs. In such a scenario, that very few students and higher education institutions obtain topics of their choice.

Each year, students throughout a long and difficult process for the purchase of application forms, all on campus for the application forms and universities of their choice and then wait for the “cut-off” Trademark different courses in different institutions of higher learning.

Students are admitted, as a general rule, on the basis of school marks a lock Board few courses in English, as BA (Hons), most colleges for a separate entrance test and interview.

The time has come, therefore you for the implementation of a common examination for admission regarding courses in schools? It is a theme that the opinions of students and ranges in the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi.

IITs students are admitted on the basis of marks doors in the town Engineering Examination (JEE), which each year. Rajat K Baisya, head, Dept. of Management Studies, IIT Delhi, said: “The implementation of a common entrance, is not a solution to the problem of students. If you choose a common entrance, test, and then all higher education institutions require a minimum standard, failing which the objective of the implementation of a survey of defeat. ”

After Baisya the IITs have a common entrance test all of a certain standard, and this can not be said, the institutions of higher education YOU.

This view was also raised by Biswajit Bose, B-Tech, electrical JEE, who said that the IITs’ testing technology “instinctively”, students’ knowledge in the field of science and mathematics, which should not be the case, students, cinema attendance in the universities of the AU, as a general rule, of course.
“If students must register for a trial to gain access to attendance in YOU, what sense did it while testing on board?” Bose said. Chanpreet Singh, study of biotechnology and in its fourth year, was an admirer of the strong existing processes.

“Students are trademarks in accordance with their capabilities and this should be the sole basis of the number of visitors.”

So what is the basis of the existing authorisation? Bose perhaps said it could be an aptitude test in common, where the focus must be on basic research, German, English, mathematics, and intellectual capabilities of a test in the subject line of specialization on the UG-level.

“The organization of the review could be a central issue, that students will now be subjected to enormous pressure, according to another survey that the committees,” he added.
