Graduates move on to new chapter in life
This May, more than 1,400 UMBC students received undergraduate and graduate degrees across a wide range of academic disciplines.
Their diplomas not only signified their academic achievements. They also symbolized the closing of one major chapter in their lives and the beginning of a new one.
Numerous members of UMBCs class of 2007 are headed to prominent graduate programs at universities such as Auburn, Cambridge, Columbia, Cornell, Emory, Georgetown, George Washington, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, MIT, University of Michigan, the New School, University of St. Andrews (Scotland), Southern Methodist University, University of Wisconsin and Yale.
