The body of a Brigham Young University student missing for more than a week was found in a canyon Sunday, the authorities said, and investigators were trying to determine how she fell to her death.
The body of the woman, Camille Cleverley, 22, was found at the base of a 200-foot cliff east of Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon, said Sheriff James O. Tracy of Utah County.
Mr. Cleverley’s father, Joel, identified her at the scene, Sheriff Tracy said, and it appeared that she had been dead for several days.

Thomas Harpointner, was interviewed by BYU’s NewsNet to discuss why the restaurant industry is embracing the Internet and how they are benefiting from implementing Internet marketing. His statements included:
The Internet is replacing or becoming additional exposure to traditional advertising and marketing, said Thomas Harpointner, CEO of AIS Media. The first contact that many people have with a restaurant is its Web site.
The poll questioned 2,517 of America’s consumers concerning the restaurant industry. Eighty-nine percent of those polled said they have researched a restaurant prior to visiting, and more than a third of respondents said they liked receiving promotional e-mails from restaurants, according to a news release. Consumers are using the Internet to find maps, directions and customer reviews, as well as discounts and promotional items before visiting restaurants. This data is changing the way restaurants are looking at marketing.

PROVO — Academic Vice President John S. Tanner has announced the appointment of Jeffrey D. Keith as a new associate academic vice president for undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, effective July 1.
He replaces K. Newell Dayley, who will retire from university service Sept. 1.
A BYU alumnus, Keith completed his masters degree and doctorate in geology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1980 and 1982, respectively. After several years working as a consulting geologist for a number of international firms and as a faculty member at the University of Georgia, he joined the BYU faculty in 1990.
