As in the case of scholarships, it would be for all students in training gross annual family income incomes_annual parents, pupils and its low spouse_of RS 2 lakh.
The bourse would be a denial of tuition fees and, in the case of a student “ echte”Notwendigkeit a committee composed of the director and two members of the college could even refrain from lodging costs and meals.
Initially, the Human Resources Development Ministry of Scholarship Fund at IIM Indore, but at the end of the Institute, a fund contributions Alumni, industry and businesses. The director said that the current pricing structures, IIM lacked the perception of costs, it was each student d ‘.
According to a member of the Board of Governors Ramesh Beheti: “ The Ministry is also the IIMS Kozhikode and Lucknow. The situation in these three IIMS, only three years ago, can not, compared to the three other IIMS, thirty years. In contrast to the exemption Murli Manohar Joshi, we promised more autonomy, as well as any financial support we need.”

New Delhi: more work default instructions for middle-class voters, this time of Ministers of the Union HRD Murli Manohar Joshi. In a step on the deployment inexpensive management training, Joshi Thursday, reduced the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) charges across the country by an astonishing 80 per cent.
IIM Costs differ in each of the six institutes in the country, but the average is close to Rs 1.5 lakh per annum. It is against the establishment of a low phenomenal R 30000 per year.
Officially, the IIMS not respond. Joshi, the chairman of IIM Ahmedabad, NO Narayanamurthy agreed on his move.
But IIM professors pointed out that it is a “ powder”in the eyes, because the real challenge before the government was to ensure equal opportunities in primary school. In the post graduate level, there was little merit candidate, was denied the opportunity to study the IIMS because of financial constraints, they stressed.
In the provision of the Ministry of Thursday, there were justified that the Supreme Court ruled against very high in the TMA Pai case. Thereafter, a committee, headed by former President, Professor ISRO UR Rao, said that “ it is unfair and would not be appropriate technical training to the situation prohibitive, but poor students. ” ‘The Rao Committee proposed that the “ Fees should be coupled with 30 per cent of Indian per capita income is Rs 6000 per annum.
The order, said Thursday that “ no other fees should be collected by students, in addition to taxes with the exception of charges, the background image to be paid by students would be separated. The revised tariff structure will come into force from the academic session 2004-05.”
Joshi, of course, is not IIMS want to deprive them of funds. Former Comptroller and Auditor General VK Shunglu, already under consideration CAT leak was asked to assess whether any of IIMS face any financial difficulties. It is unlikely that the three ancient and historical IIMS in Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta that the face of every problem. It remains to be seen whether the fee structure currently is harder for IIMS in Lucknow, Indore and Kozhikode.
The lines of IIM had a free hand, since the days of the Narasimha Rao government, when they were invited in large part to defend itself. Even the United Front government, which distrusts the structure of fees, was not involved. The IIMS, especially the first three, the board has a net gain of jobs, almost double the amount it deserves, in the form of royalties.
