ACC Announces 2007 Spring Sportsmanship Awards
Three Boston College programs - mens tennis, mens outdoor track and softball - have earned 2007 ACC spring sportsmanship awards, the league has announced.
Teams receiving the awards have conducted themselves with a high degree of character and good sportsmanship, as determined by a vote of the leagues players and coaches.
Additionally, Boston College was named the recipient of the ACC Sportsmanship School of the Year Award for the 2006-07 academic year by virtue of winning outright sportsmanship awards in eight sports - football, volleyball, womens basketball, womens swimming and diving, mens swimming and diving, mens tennis, mens outdoor track and softball.
