The recruitment company Adecco has started cooperating with Copenhagen Business School (CBS) which is to result in the MBA students remaining in Denmark after their graduation, writes Børsen Business Daily.
“According to CBS many of the MBA students would like to work in Denmark. However, the tendency is that a majority returns to their own countries because it is difficult for them to be integrated on the labour market. Therefore it is important that we do everything we can to integrate them during their student period so that afterwards companies will be prepared to take them on," says Adecco's Marketing Director
MBA program returns to SOU
Southern Oregon University is restoring its masters in business administration program, charting a different course from the discontinued version abandoned a decade ago.
The hybrid program aimed at working professionals will be offered in Medford on Saturdays and takes seven quarters, or 21 months, to complete.
This is definitely a trend, says Dave Harris, Dean of the School of Business, who instituted a similar program while he was at the University of Central Oklahomas College of Business Administration. Its a model designed for maximum convenience for students offering both in-class and online components.

Five thousand MBA students said expect to be paid a base salary of $63,695 one year after graduation in the combined category of auditing/accounting/taxation. After five years, the same students expect to earn $111,135.
The accounting sector received the lowest expectations of the 47 sectors surveyed. The next lowest expectation was academic research, at $77,859 one year after graduation and $132,282 after five years.
A report has suggested that it is likely that British students considering taking MBA courses in the UK will find it increasingly hard to find loans to cover the cost of their post-graduate studies.
According to a report in the Financial Times, the appeal of MBA courses in the US had recently been increasing among British students, thanks to the weak dollar.
However, the paper has now learnt that the credit crunch has dramatically reduced the number of student loans available for those considering such post-graduate courses.

Vinayaka Missions new MBA course
Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation, a Salem-based deemed university, will start a two-year twin programme in MBA -- combining graduation and post-graduation course -- in partnership with Centennial College, Toronto, Canada.
The MBA international programme enables students to study their first year in India and the second year in Canada, S Vasudevan, vice-principal of the university, told reporters here today.
If the students opt to study in India itself, it can also be done, he said.
The students will be awarded an MBA degree by the university and graduation certificate by the Centennial College.
