Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) in partnership with financial programming Technologies (India) Ltd (FTIL) today announced the “Vista Wars Online 2006″, a series real-time online games, a spin-off Online Vista, the largest management Summit executed by a B-school in India.
The spin-off online Windows Vista, 2005 has seen enormous success, as many as 1.2 million visits before and during the summit. Vista Wars Online 2006, the first event Commodities Trading in India, the breadth of its scope of the same thing.
The games and simulations online Wars will aim of the exhibition in the world of raw materials, trade in currencies and other asset classes, Jignesh Shah CMD FTIL said, kicking off online games.

The N.S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, young Indians and CII will soon launch a large market for ideas. Innovation Exchange during the weekend annual management discs IIMB, Vista 2004.
The exchange is a legal person and is regarded as a firm, according to sources IIMB.
Mr. Gerard Rego, CTO, Liqwid Krystal, who is also a member of the CII Young Indians, told Business Line that very often there is a big split between creative ideas and a solid business model.
The exchange aims to fill this gap.

The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, which appealed against slapping of a whopping Rs 3.19 crore income tax by the department, will now pay only 50 per cent of the amount, a top IIMB source said.
"Tax authorities raised a demand for Rs 3.19 crore for the assessment year 2003-04. We have appealed against this and have now been asked to pay 50 per cent of the amount," Ketoki Basu, Financial Controller, IIMB told PTI today.

The Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) today announced its agreement at the beginning of the process of amending its Memorandum of Association (MOA) to facilitate its expansion of its activities outside India .
Briefing journalists after the meeting, Director IIMB G Prakash Apte said the MoA signed in 1973, the Institute was created, not even a clause on the extension of its activities outside the country.
The decision of nearly IIMB came on the heels of human resources, Arjun Singh, Minister's assertion that the prestigious B-enterprises can create schools abroad, after changing its MoA.
