JCD leader appears at exam from sick bed violating rules A Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader of Rajshahi University (RU) appeared at his MBA examination from sick bed on Sunday last violating university rules. Sources said RU JCD Joint Convener Masudur Rahman Rana, a second semester student of Management department, appeared at the examination from a sick bed of the university medical centre without any illness. University Chief Medical Officer Dr Nadira Begum informed the university authorities and department chairman in written that Rana has no infectious disease and as such he needs no sick bed to appear at the examination.

The ongoing intermediate examination has disrupted classes in most of the constituent colleges of Ranchi University in the steel city. Classes have been suspended in Jamshedpur Workers’ College, Jamshedpur Co-operative College and Abdul Bari Memorial College due to the examination. More than 14, 500 students are appearing for the intermediate examination, which began on March 11 and will conclude on April 15. Principal of Jamshedpur Workers College S.S. Razi said the teachers have been instructed to take extra classes to complete the syllabus once the examination is over. KOCHI, JAN. 17 The Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) appointed a subcommittee today the possibility of Varsity resume its status as examination centre of the Commission on Graduates of business Nursing Schools (CGFNS).
