The stress placed on emotional intelligence

An extension conference was organized by post-graduate, Department of Commerce Arya College on the “value of emotional intelligence in the development of effective leadership style” here and now.

“In this dynamic world, an effective leader, it is necessary to mold, even under the circumstances,” said Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra, a professor at the University Business School, Panjab University.

Kamini professor Ms. Behl Malhotra established at the Faculty and students. Main S.M. Sharma and Professor HR Saini, Head, Post Graduate Department of Commerce, welcomed.

Dr. Malhotra gave valuable suggestions for the effective conduct of monitoring and self-mechanism. She said, in this competition on the world market, there was a need for the search for a person to be effective and adaptable to changing circumstances.

She presented the role of value on the development of emotional intelligence in everyday life, with the technical skills and iq.

She explained that the faculty and students of different management styles such as coercive measures, affiliative, democratic and coaching.

An effective system of leader was a combined all these styles in the right proportions conduct different circumstances.

Emphasis was also on the components of emotional intelligence that is to say, the experience itself, self-management, social awareness and social skills. Besides specialization in a specific area, they should be aware of view of others and their problems.

Clin of the question, she said the need of the hour was to integrate intelligence techniques alongwith driving trains.

U of M Launches New MBA Program

The University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business and Economics is launching a one of a kind master of business administration degree. The program focuses on education for managers at mid-level and above in collaborating companies. There will be an emphasis on biomedical, logistics and distribution, retailing and services marketing.
