Students from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University here will now get an opportunity to study at Deakin University in Australia as part of a student exchange programme between the two institutions.
During the current academic year four students from Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication being taught at the affiliated institutions of Indraprastha University will study at Deakin. Similarly the latter will send as many of its students to learn the nuances of the Bachelor of Business Administration programme taught here.

He created this record in the 10-kilometers 2nd National Long Distance Ganga River Swimming championship. Khuswaha beat 40 swimmers from across the country to claim the first position.

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will conduct 20 joint entrance exams for admission to its various courses in the academic year 2007-2008 from May 7 to May 20 next year.
From the next academic year, admission to MBA and MCA courses offered by the university will also be done through an all-India entrance test, apart from the engineering and MBBS courses. Only students from Delhi would be able to appear for the entrance tests for professional courses.
