STAGE scene Vishnu K. Sunil Kumar Karthik and regret, it is not on the devolution of the hotel drama

While studying mechanical engineering Karthik Kumar, Sunil K. Vishnu, the trade route and was finally, the duo of the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad with dreams of career management. Somewhere along the way, but both have decided their fate was theatre and began Evam, a professional entertainment in Chennai. Three years and 150 performances later, both have successful careers in this field, he worked as an actor and writer building next to their dream of a professional theatre Outfit.

Rakesh MEHAR brings the duo as they discuss Evam 150 (a feast of mid stone), career in theater and more.

Karthik: We have 150 shows in less than 36 months. When we started doing the trend was two plays years interrupted by a gap of six months for nothing. The theatre has always been sporadic. Everything has a value of curiosity, and Evam 150 is really whether we can cash in curiosity.

Sunil: We are only looking Evam 150 as a symptom of what’s happening with the group. When we started our audience base 1200 was about 2000 people, was about 7000 or 8000 in Chennai. And we Zilch near Bangalore about 2000 people. We also found an audience in homogeneous cities, young people looking for live entertainment and not a live theatre.

Karthik: At the moment there is no other possibility for people to simply start a game on a weekend, because it shows, are rare. People go to a play, because they are concerned about the fact that you even missed. So, as a baby Ranga Kara Shan is a beauty, because it gives the theatre omnipresent.

Sunil: If people want to see a play every evening, they should be able to do so. That is what we are increasingly in

Karthik: But very few people dare to take it. We want more people to do, because it’s worth it financially. The theatre is competing with so many things, films, pubs, even a cup of coffee.

Sunil: The World Cup football. At the moment, we have things to plan, so as not to conflict with the World Cup. In the near future, we’re looking for a module theatre where we have businesses. This is the second step, to places like Electronic City and show them what the theatre.

Karthik: It is like the tower walkie car. They used the satellite townships, we walk on IT-campus. People do not have enough choices, they, what is available.

Sunil: You have not only creating quality content, but also ensure that everyone knows and it is as simple as possible for the public to consume.

On the jump in the professional theatre

Karthik: It is like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, where they were on the brink of the cliff and decide if they jump or not. The law is hunting after them, they have no other choice but to jump. The desire to be free, not railroads are welcoming you not dare. And if you take, take the plunge and you’re in the rapids you are not aware if it hurt or if you use a ball. You are only in the river.

Sunil: We can always decent managers. But why should I not, what I really? Why should I not give me a chance to do something, I should like?
