National Seminar on mathematics.

A national seminar on discrete mathematics and applications “, organized by the department of mathematics at the University St. Thomas Kozhencherry place in the auditorium of the University of 9 to 11 January.

The seminar was encouraged by the Central Bureau of higher mathematics, Mumbai, the Mahatma Gandhi University and the University of St. Thomas, “said Koshy.

He said that nearly 150 people from different parts of the country have planned to participate in this seminar on January 11.

IT seminar from today

The annual IT management seminar of the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) will be held at the IIM-K campus on August 28 and 29. The seminar will be inaugurated by Krishna Kumar, IIM-K director, at 9 a.m. at the IIM-K campus. Arun Seth, chairman, BT India and chairman, ITES-BPO Forum, NASSCOM, will address the seminar. The seminar will deliberate on the burning issues facing the country's IT industry. The seminar to be attended by leaders from the IT industry will be focussing on management in the IT sector in particular. The topic of this year's seminar is `Marketing of IT solutions'.

Seminar on power sector reforms

The SV University's Department of Management Studies will be holding a two-day national seminar on "Power sector reforms - Challenges and strategies'' on March 25 and 26 on the campus. Eminent industry professionals and academicians would take part in it and present their papers, the seminar director, S. Durga Rao, stated in a press release.
