More seats for MBA, B Tech, Fashion Designing
The Delhi government has decided to increase 1,600 seats in various technical institutions and ITIs from this academic year. The decision was taken in a meeting of the State Vocational Education Board presided over by CM Sheila Dikshit. At present, the intake in B Tech course is 2,550.
This would be increased to 3,210. The intake of MBA course has been increased from 480 to 720.
The B Tech course has seen an increase of seats in Guru Teg Bahadur Institute Of Technology, Maharaja Suraj Mal Institute of Technology, Northern India Engineering College and Ambedkar
Mortgage applications fall in holiday week
The number of applications for mortgages at major U.S. banks dropped 3.9% on a seasonally adjusted basis last week compared to the prior week, the Mortgage Bankers Association reported Wednesday.
