His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamshala for New Delhi via Jammu today.
In New Delhi, His Holiness will participate at the International conference on Mahayana Philosophy and Art to be held at the India International Centre on 2 November.This conference is organised by Tibet House based in New Delhi.

The Department of Adult and Continuing Education of Andhra University will take up several activities with the help of Rs.14.25 lakh fund released by UGC under the 10th Plan, said vice-chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy at a press conference here on Thursday.
The activities included adult literacy classes for about 100 Class IV staff of AU, seminars, workshops and orientation programmes and conducting short-term certificate courses. Six programme coordinators were appointed to conduct the activities.

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Adult and Continuing Education Department of Andhra University is conducting various short-term certificate courses as part of its 10th plan activities, for which the University Grants Commission has granted Rs 14.25 lakh.
The department is also organising seminars and workshops with special focus on adult literacy, according to Vice-Chancellor L Venugopal Reddy.
