The Dalai Lama lecturers IIM-A

Buddhist spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, to visit IIM-A campus in January 2008, students speak on “Ethics and economics.” The Tibetan guides in Ahmedabad as part of a Tibetan festival to be organized at the city. The conference is open to all students and teachers.

As part of its initiative to instruct persons of different sectors of life to interact with students, IIM-A, so far, the Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar and CPI ( M) leader Sitaram Yechury.

This was followed by Senator Edward Murray, the man in a country Washington State, a conference on public-private partnerships in infrastructure on campus in May 2007.

His Holiness leaves Dharamshala for a visit to the United States and United Kingdom

His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamshala for New Delhi via Jammu today. In New Delhi, His Holiness will participate at the International conference on Mahayana Philosophy and Art to be held at the India International Centre on 2 November.This conference is organised by Tibet House based in New Delhi. AU plans adult literacy classes for class IV employees

The Department of Adult and Continuing Education of Andhra University will take up several activities with the help of Rs.14.25 lakh fund released by UGC under the 10th Plan, said vice-chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy at a press conference here on Thursday.
