Coimbatore: Indian Institute of Catering Technology (IICT) and Hotel Management Industrial School (Ondipudur) clinched the football title defeating GKD Institute for Technological Resource Industrial School 2-0 in the first district sports meet for industrial schools at the Good Shepherd premises in Mayileripalayam on Wednesday.
St. Joseph’s Industrial School (Coimbatore) posted a 2-1 win over Royal Industrial School (Marappalayam) for the boys’ volleyball title.
Rev. Fr. R. Joseph Raj, Rector, Good Shepherd Seminary, inaugurated the tournament.

Soccer: Sachin shines in Love House victory
AN all-important goal by Sachin Singh in the 52nd minute of the game helped Love House in defeating Unity House 1-0 in the final of the Inter-house Football Tournament organised by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram at its football grounds here.
