NEW DELHI: A director of Amity Business School in Haryana committed suicide by Erschießen himself, police said Tuesday.
Harpal Singh, 42, committed suicide in the institution, the campus of Manesar, in the outskirts of New Delhi. He used his revolver to draw himself, police said.
"It seems to be a case of suicide, and we are not the suspicion of negligence," said Hanif Qureshi, Senior Superintendent of Police.

SINDRI (JHARKHAND): Tension prevailed in Dhanbad town following police firing and lathicharge to control the students of Indian School of Mines (ISM) who went berserk and attacked the staff members of a cinema hall and public in general on Saturday evening.
According to police sources, a group of ISM students allegedly eveteased a girl outside Puja Talkies. When the girl's brother protested, the students became angry and forced the family to apologise.

The Nigdi police on Wednesday arrested MBA students Aditi Basavdev Sharma (24) of Sainik Colony, Jammu, and her boyfriend Pravin Premswaroop Khandelwal (24) of Malhotranagar, Jaipur — both currently studying in Pune, for allegedly killing Udit Ashwinikumar Bharati (25) of Jammu by giving him prasad laced with poison on April 23.
The alleged murder took place in a restaurant at Chinchwad, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Nigdi police. Udits father, Ashwinikumar (58) of Trikutanagar in Jammu, has lodged a complaint with the Hinjewadi police in this regard.

First-year students, Vishal Jain (21) and Ankur Singh (20) went to his motorcycle late Tuesday. In the dark of night arrivals, it hit a Pailan, Bishnupur of the police.
