LAKHNAU: Directors of five Indian Institute of Management (IIMS), scheduled for Friday at Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L).
The meeting was supposed to light the importance of the Centre for the implementation of the previous decision of other classes (OBC) quota for Super speciality institutes and centres of expertise and how IIMS AIIMS.
IIM directors of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, and it is anticipated that the participation of three to 18 days Annual Meeting of the Association of Indian management schools (AIMS) from the IIM Lucknow on Friday. The goal is a network of over 400 business schools in the country.

Nearly 400 delegates from directors, deans, professors, students, leaders and participants from across the country and abroad to discuss emerging opportunities for management training in India in the post-liberalisation ’s global economy order and how it can be cut for future challenges.

Various business schools in different parts of South India will participate in the first ever management meet to be hosted by the Department of Management Studies (DMS) of the Kannur University here on March 19 and 20.
The head of the DMS, P.T. Raveendran, told a press conference here today that the Mangalore University Department of Business Administration; School of Management Studies, Bangalore; Nehru College, Coimbatore; Bharatiar University, IMK-Kerala University and SCMS-Cochin were among the 16 business schools to send their teams to the management meet to be held at the Mascot Paradise here.

A four-day international meet on quality engineering and management will be held at the P.S.G. College of Technology, Coimbatore from August 3 to 6. The meet, sponsored by the American Society for Quality Control, Central Michigan Unversity and Illinois Institute of Technology, will deliberate on methods to enhance quality in products. The All India Council for Technical Education, Department of Science and Technology and TN State Council for Science and Technology have extended their support for the meet.
MBA students of the Institute of Management in Kerala (IMK) are organising a South Indian Management Meet, christened 'Mania-2004', here on August 7 and 8.
IMK is the Faculty of Management Studies, the University of Kerala, and operates from the University Campus, Palayam, in the city. 'Mania - 2004' will be the 10th edition of a regular annual feature in IMK's scheme of things right from year 1994.

PUNE: The Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM) has organised 'Communique-2003', a national seminar on, ‘The path to profitable growth’, at the Symbiosis Vishwabhavan on October 18 and 19.

COIMBATORE, NOV. 25 Coimbatore Corporation today launched its new programme of mass cleansing in an attempt to liberate the city of garbage and snow. Even while the bodies of civilians believes that the revitalization would find a solution to the problem of rising waste, the city has obtained the removal of the response lukewarm. Given that the two-year program did not yield much greater results, expectations of the public were not high.

COIMBATORE: A three-day international conference on textiles and clothing management (ITCM 2004) is to be held in the city between December 13 and 15.
The conference, to be organised jointly by the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management (SVPITM) and the PSG College of Technology, will cover the textile enterprise management aspects relating to international trade, supply chain, information system, quality management, HR, production and operation and techno-economics in textile and apparel production, according to a communication from Mr P. Saravanan, Registrar of SVPITM, who is also the convener of the conference.
