Expo on modern banking

KOZHIKODE, FEB. 24. The Banking Frontiers will organise a seminar-cum-technology exhibition on modern banking at the Hyson Heritage here on February 25.

The seminar has been targeted at chairmen, directors, chief operating officers, general managers, and entrepreneurship development programme managers of top organisations .

The Punjab National Bank deputy general manager (Kerala), M.A. Muraleedharan, will be the chief guest. Technology specialists in various fields will make presentations on TBA, ATMs, security, outsourcing, open source software and channel management.

The National Institute of Technology computer scientist, A. Rajagopalan, will present a paper on `Thin client computing’; Saji Gopinath, Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, on `Cost effective technologies for modern banking’, and the Banking Frontiers Editor, Manoj Agrawal, on `Information Technology strategies of new private sector banks’ in the afternoon.

The technology exhibition will be held at the same venue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
