The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Luce of Westport, Conn. .. Mr. Auerbach is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Auerbach of Boston.
The bride, who will retain her name, is a graduate of the Brearley School and Williams College. She attended the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. She works in the objects conservation department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Her father, a former publisher of The New Republic, is editor and publisher of the newsletter Bureau Norwalk, Conn. .., Concern that puts out the monthly publications Investing in Real Estate and Home Owner’s Advisory Letter. Her mother, Iris F. Luce, direct and regional theatre teaches English as a second language at Norwalk Community College.
Mr. Auerbach, a graduate of Yale University, is the chairman of Valentino Crescent International, a securities trading concern in New York. His previous marriage ended in divorce. His father is a professor emeritus of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and counsel to the law firm of Sullivan & Worcester in Boston. His mother, Judith Auerbach, is the reference librarian at the Frances Loeb Library of the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Cambridge.
