Admission To Fellowship Programme from Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management

ADMISSION TO FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME (Ph.D LEVEL) (Full/Part Time)

Applications in prescribed format, available on institute website for admission to Fellowship Programe (Ph.D level) are invited to reach the institute by 10th August, 2001 along with a draft of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Director, IIITM, payable at Gwalior

Eligibility : Masters Degree in Engineering/Technology or MBA and equivalent, with at least 65% marks or CGPA of 7.00 on a 10 point scale in qualifying degree.

Working industry professionals and teachers in Technical institutions with 3 years relevant experience after Masters degree or 5 years experience with Bachelors degree in Engineering with 65% marks or CGPA of 7/10 are also eligible for part time registration.

Stipend : Full time candidates shall be provided a stipend of Rs.5000/- per month & contingency grant.

Selection : Candidates fulfilling the eligibility are required to report in the institute on August 11, 2001 at 10.00 a.m. for selection through test/interview. No separate intimation will be given for test/interview

Carnegie Mellon Universitys Civil and Environmental Engineering Department has received a $50,000 graduate fellowship from the Mao Yisheng Scientific and Technical Education Fund to honor the memory and technical excellence of Chinas pioneering bridge builder, Mao Yisheng. Mao, who came to Pittsburgh to study steelmaking and bridge building, earned Carnegie Mellons first Ph.D. in 1919.
