Govt coaching centres IAS makers.

Workshops on-campus students the inspiration to IAS?

Talking to Calcutta Times, the principle of the Presidency College, Amitabha Chatterjee, said that the workshop would be a part of its new program to modernize the IAS in teaching centers in the city, which had a decline in the student population in recent years, in conjunction with a poor performance.

Currently, there are four centres in Kolkata: Presidency College, Ashutosh College, College Basanti Devi and the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.

Action taken by the Government to improve the supervision centres ago, thereafter, a report tabled by the department of higher education, in October, among others, noted the poor performance of students ‘IAS in West Bengal. “We are trying to refocus the system of coaching,” Chatterjee said, adding that “we are also rules on IAS rope to negotiate more officers teaching in these centres.”

“It is wrong to say that we do not have IAS officers in the centres, but they are not available all the time,” said one student. The Minister of Higher Education, Satyasadhan Chakraborty, said: “We want the IAS officers, who can devote more time.”

As a centre of excellence for revising plans for the basic thrust of the matter is the style of teaching. “We must concentrate our efforts,” said an official of the Department of Education. “Given that most teachers come from the University of Calcutta, they are not familiar with the teaching techniques UPSC.

HC stays TN Govt order on MBA/MCA seats in minority colleges The Madras High Court has stayed a Tamil Nadu Government order apportioning MBA/MCA seats in aided minority colleges in the ratio of 50:50 for government and management.
