Indias premier B-school, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is looking at possible tie-ups with leading North American universities including Wharton, Columbia, Stern and Stanford for its new one-year post-graduate programme in management for executives (PGPX) scheduled to commence from April 2006.

With three more foreign universities entering into a partnership with the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L) for student exchange program this year, experts at IIM-L feel that the institute has achieved a new height.
The programme that began with just three French universities in 2001, now has collaboration with 22 foreign universities. University of Louisvilles College of Business will introduce a Professional MBA program this fall.
The program is designed to provide students with the benefits of a full-time program in a part-time, accelerated two-year time frame. Classes can be taken in the evenings (two nights each week, 6 to 9 p.m.) or on Saturdays (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
