Indias premier B-school, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is looking at possible tie-ups with leading North American universities including Wharton, Columbia, Stern and Stanford for its new one-year post-graduate programme in management for executives (PGPX) scheduled to commence from April 2006.

With three more foreign universities entering into a partnership with the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L) for student exchange program this year, experts at IIM-L feel that the institute has achieved a new height.
The programme that began with just three French universities in 2001, now has collaboration with 22 foreign universities. Around 60 IIM-L students, who will be visiting foreign universities for a period of three months from September, have been trained to observe and record the difference in the education system of their own country and that of the foreign country.

University of Louisvilles College of Business will introduce a Professional MBA program this fall.
The program is designed to provide students with the benefits of a full-time program in a part-time, accelerated two-year time frame. Classes can be taken in the evenings (two nights each week, 6 to 9 p.m.) or on Saturdays (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
