Application forms and prospectus : Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from the Office of the Dean (Academic) by sending a written request in an envelope superscribed Request for Ph.D. Aplication together with a crossed DD for Rs.400/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates) obtained not earlier than 01.12.2003 towards application-cum-registration fee in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15 payable at State Bank of India (Code No.1617) National Institute of Technology, (NIT) Branch, Tiruchirappali-15 or any other nationalized bank.

Applications in person can also be obtained from this Institute from 08.12.2003 onwards on all working days (10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) payment through DD only.

NUC announces ban on 26 MBA programmes

NUC announces ban on 26 MBA programmes The National Universities Commission (NUC) in Abuja announced a ban on 26 universities from conducting the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programmes. The out-going Executive Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Peter Okebukola, announced the ban while presenting his handing-over notes to his successor, Prof. Julius Okojie. Okebukola named the institutions denied accreditation to include Lagos State University (LASU), saying it refused to subject its programme to NUC accreditation team.
