BANGALORE, JUNE 9. The private higher education institutions Karnataka Post Graduate 'Association (KPPGCA), the management of Karnataka Aptitude Test (K-MAT), July 4 admit students MBA from the administration quota of 40 seats in the funding of institutions of private higher education throughout the country.

Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) entrance test ‘OPENMAT’ for MBA would be conducted in St Aloysius College for aspirants who had selected Mangalore as the centre.
IGNOU co-ordinator Fr Denzil Lobo in a press release stated that due to a technical fault, candidates who had opted for Mangalore Centre (1302) in OPENMAT Entrance Test received hall tickets directing students to appear for the test at Bangalore (Code 1309).
IGNOU Headquarters in New Delhi realised its mistake and directed its Study Centre at St Aloysius College to take necessary action.

BANGALORE: For management quota MBA and MCA seat aspirants, Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges' Association has arranged a separate entrance test (KMAT-207) in centres across the State on July 8. Students could look for seats in 82 MBA colleges and 67 colleges offering the MCA programme.
The test, open to students from throughout the country, is mandatory to fill all management quota seats. Last year, 13,137 candidates appeared for the test, and around 3,600 students were admitted to various colleges on the basis of the KMAT ranking.
