Stellite-based executive education

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, has implemented its programme of DirecWay in association with Hughes Escorts, flagging off its satellite-based executive education.

Classes will be held at a studio in the classroom Institute. Students attend the classes may either in the classroom or log on from any of the interactive 36 centres across India.

However it will not offer full-fledged Executive Masters in Business Administration programme on the satellite platform.

XLRI Jamshedpur, Narsee Monjee of Mumbai IIM Kozhikode and have already been using the satellite platform.

UW Executive Education again rated tops in world

UW Executive Education again rated tops in world Open-enrollment executive education programs at the UW-Madison School of Business have been rated best in the world for the second straight year by The Economist Intelligence Unit. IIM K announces admissions for its Executive Management Education Programme

The programme is targeted at executives with minimum five years of work experience. According to IIM-K, eMEP 08 is designed to impart general management skills to working professionals to enhance effectiveness of their decisions. Harvard Business School (HBS) in conjunction with the Harvard Business School India Research Center (IRC) today announced plans to offer its first executive education program in India in February 2008. The first-of-its-kind, Building a Global Enterprise in India will be taught by HBS senior faculty in Hyderabad and is specially designed for senior executives from India and around the region.
