Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai, offers full-time and part-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM). The institute has 17 full-time faculty and 59 visiting faculty. Each batch consists of 68 students with an average age of 23 years. Admission to the institute is through XAT or XLRI. The campus, which is 78.19 acres, includes student hostel, classrooms, library and computer centre, sports and recreational facility, conference facility, playground, gym, auditorium, canteen, tennis/badminton court and student commonroom.

Chennai, March 28 (PTI): Loyola College, Chennai, today, a declaration of intent with the London Metropolitan University (LMU) to jointly develop Graduate and Undergraduate Programs post.
The agreement will also allow the exchange of students and staff and develop educational curricula and teaching methods, Mark Bickerton, director of the LMU said.
College Principal Brother Albert Muthumalai told reporters that Loyola would be an Msc in Food Chemistry and Nanoscience and is awaiting approval of the conclusion of the next academic year.
The school should also M Phil and PhD in biotechnology, he said.

CHENNAI, March 29 Asia Pulse - Loyola College, in cooperation with the London Metropolitan University (LMU) develop Graduate and Undergraduate Programs in the post for which an agreement was signed on Wednesday.
The agreement will also allow the exchange of students and staff and develop educational curricula and teaching methods, the director Mark LMU Bickerton said.
Main Mrs. Albert Muthumalai said that the college offers a degree in Food Chemistry and Nanoscience in the next academic year, for the final approval is still pending.

CHENNAI: The Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) has called for nominations from listed corporates for the Mother Teresa Award - 2002.
The award is given to "a professionally managed model corporate citizen, with a consistent focus on its business mission blended with a social vision which reveals its concern for the economic uplift of the disadvantaged sections of the community". So far, four companies have received this award - Titan Industries Ltd, Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd, Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals and Indian Oil Corporation.
CHENNAI: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited received the Mother Teresa Award for 2006 from former President A.P.J Abdul Kalam at a function held at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) on Friday.
Dr. Abdul Kalam also inaugurated the Loyola Centre for Entrepreneurship on the occasion.
The Mother Teresa Award, established by LIBA in 1998, is given in recognition of achievements in the areas of ethical governance.
