TIRUCHI: V. Gopalakrishnan, Executive Director, BHEL, Tiruchi Complex, was honored with the 2005 Engineer Best price through the centre of the city Tiruchi the Institution of Engineers (India). This distinction has been, by the President of the Institution of Engineers, C. Velayudham, while the 38th Engineers Day celebration, MAM College of Engineering, Siruganur, most recently in the vicinity of here.
Mr. Gopalakrishnan was the Recognition Award for his contribution to the revolution of information technology BHEL, his efforts to promote relations between the industrialized countries and monitoring implementation BHEL by his innovative ideas and to anticipate.

M.G. Sreekumar, librarian, Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) has been awarded the `Young Librarian Award' for 2004, instituted by the Satiner Kaur Ramdev Memorial Trust for Advancement of Librarianship (SATKAL) Trust of Punjab University, Chandigarh.
The award was presented to Mr. Sreekumar by G.S. Randhawa, former Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, in Chandigarh recently. Mr. Sreekumar has been instrumental in setting up a state-of-the-art library at the IIM-K.
Another Top Award for MBA Systems
For the sixth year running, MBA Systems has won a key award at the Securities Industry Software Awards, which is sponsored by TD Waterhouse. These awards are considered to be the most prestigious acclamation amongst suppliers of systems to the securities industry. This year, MBA received this accolade for the Best Website Development.
