Pune: In an attempt to reduce the threat posed by bogus educational institutions in the city, the police have written letters to the University of Pune and the University Grants Commission (UGC), the officials concerned to consider the matter.
These organizations allegedly cheating students in courses, courses that are not from a recognized university or without the proper functioning of the premises.
Over the past two years, managers and trustees of more than six hours of higher education have been captured in the operation of these courses and fraud to students and parents.
On Friday, the municipal police reserve Dilip Pandit Shankar (53) of Vashi Navi Mumbai saying favour of the publication of leaflets and brochures of the Institute has asked the International Institute for Technology and Management in Asia. According to the police, and not only this university is not affiliated with a university, but it is not a building or premises.
Sunil Phulari, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber-economic), TOI said that, in such establishments over the past two years, with the sole purpose of money quickly composed of students and their parents. “These settlements are not only deceived the students, they have ruined their careers, as well,” he said.
The problem is not only in the city. Last month, the Pune rural police filed an action for annulment of an institute for training in information technology Manikbaug on Sinhagad road. The Institute traders allegedly promised 100% placement of students, but students after their courses, operators refused to allow them to help the country of employment

V S Kandekar (30), Prabha K Dedia (38) and G R Patil (32) had resorted to bogus voting in the polls, held in ward number 25.
