Chris Young Named President & General Manager of ITT’s Space Systems Division

Mr. Young was named president and general manager of Space Systems Division on April 18, 2006. Previously, Young served as Vice President and Director for the divisions Commercial & Space Sciences group.

Young has spent his career with ITT, first joining the companys Aerospace Communications Division (A/CD) in 1982. After serving in a series of managerial and project engineering positions, he was named Director of Space Engineering for A/CD in 2001, where he was responsible for all space engineering activities, including process quality and process improvements. In 2003, he was named Director, Space Programs for A/CD.

Young holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University and has taken graduate study in the MBA program at Indiana University.
