Holbrook named Eastern Bank chairman, CEO Eastern Bank has named Richard E. Holbrook of Medfield as chairman and chief executive officer, the bank announced yesterday. Holbrooks promotion completes a transition that began five years ago, when Stanley J. Lukowski announced his plan to retire as chairman and CEO at the end of 2006, according to a statement from the board of directors.
