MANIPAL: Rohit Prasad Sharma and Abhishek Sinha , second year students of T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, have won the Second Prize in Debate at Acumen 2006, the National B-School Challenge organized by Business Today in association with Aditya Birla Group, held at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB).
Out of the 39 teams that took part in the debate, four institutes-TAPMI, IIM-Bangalore, IIM-Kozhikode and Christ College qualified for the semi- finals. TAPMI beat IIM-Kozhikode to reach the finals. BANGALORE: For management quota MBA and MCA seat aspirants, Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges' Association has arranged a separate entrance test (KMAT-207) in centres across the State on July 8. Students could look for seats in 82 MBA colleges and 67 colleges offering the MCA programme.
