Hamline University Graduate School of Management said Monday that it would launch a new Master of Business Administration program.
St. Paul-based Hamline said that it is now accepting applications for the program, which will begin in January 2008. The one-night-a-week program lasts 21 months.
The Twin Cities market for MBA programs has grown increasingly competitive in recent years. Seven years ago, there were eight schools on the Business Journals list of MBA programs. Now there are 13, with prominent newcomers including the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business and the online Capella University.

The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, (IIM-L) will launch its one year full time residential executive program, the International Program in Management for Executives (IPMX), at its upcoming Noida campus in the NCR region.
According to IIM-L, the program is expected to commence from April 14, 2008.

Global industrial gases group BOC is poised to launch the UKs first ever MBA designed specifically for in-house lawyers.
BOC is planning to launch the MBA-style course, which is the brainchild of group legal director and company secretary Nick Deeming, later this year.

Ethiopia Unity University College Launches MBA Program
The Unity University College, one of the main private educational institutions in the country is set to begin offering graduate program courses in two disciplines, its president disclosed on Monday.
