The Evening UST MBA program at St. Thomas’ Opus College of Business offers a full slate of information sessions and open houses this fall for prospective students.
The Evening UST MBA program is specifically designed for working professionals, regardless of undergraduate area of study. The curriculum emphasizes application of the relevant theory, so students can begin to apply their knowledge immediately. The program also features an elective component, where students can shape their MBA program to best fit their individual career interests and goals.
Information sessions will be held on the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses, as well as the satellite campus locations in Bloomington, Maple Grove, and Chaska. The hourlong events include a short presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session and some insight on the GMAT exam.

The George Fox School of Management is accepting competitive applications for its MBA evening cohort program to begin in the fall. Information meetings will be held to discuss the program on Thursday, April 19th, and May 17th, at noon and 6:00 pm. Meetings are at the Meridian campus located at 1810 South Eagle Road.
The George Fox, MBA program is 23 months in length, meeting one night per week, and occasional Saturdays. The program focuses on the ethical stewardship of organizations and servant leadership of people. Classes are discussion-based with an emphasis on case studies.

ETS announces alterations to GRE testing format to take effect in fall
The Educational Testing Service is making multiple changes to the Graduate Record Examinations, a standardized test required for admission to many graduate schools. ETS recently announced that these changes will go into effect in September, after being scheduled to take effect in October of last year, according to an ETS press release.
We are introducing a number of changes into the context and the administrations of the test, as well as to the score scales, said Dawn Piacentino, the associate director in the GRE program at ETS.

NC State Universitys College of Management Holds MBA Program Information Session Tonight
Pam Bostic, director of the NC State College of Management MBA program, announces that the next MBA information session will be held December 5 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Nelson Hall on the NC State campus. Samford University's Brock School of Business is changing the schedule of its evening MBA program.
The graduate program - taken often by working professionals - is being revamped into two semesters that are nine weeks each with a 10-week summer semester, the school reported Thursday.
The program used to have five, nine-week terms in a year.
Under the new schedule, each course will meet for a two-hour class each week, giving students more time to study and learn the material, school officials said.

UNM hosts MBA program open house in Rio Rancho
An upcoming open house hosted by the University of New Mexico will focus on its Westside MBA Program. UNM's Anderson Schools of Management will be holding free information sessions on May 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for prospective students interested in the Executive MBA (EMBA) and the new Professional MBA (PMBA) programs. This session will be the second in a series, following a free information session in Albuquerque earlier this month.

ASU, Jobing.com team on MBA program
Jobing.com has selected Arizona State Universitys W.P. Carey School of Business to deliver a 22-month Masters of Business Administration degree program for company employees.
According to an announcement Friday from the school, the program begins this month and will allow Jobing.com employees to continue a regular work schedule while earning their MBAs. Thirty-four employees have been accepted into the programs first class -- one third from the Phoenix area, where Jobing.com is based, and the rest from locations around the U.S.
Courses will be delivered by a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online courses
UNM offers free MBA information sessions
Prospective students interested in the University of New Mexico's Anderson Schools of Management's executive or professional MBA programs will be treated to a free information session about the respective programs Tuesday, April 9. Serious candidates also are invited to attend a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) prep workshop April 16.
The 30-year-old executive MBA (master's in business administration) program is an intensive 24-month, on-campus, weekend curriculum that caters to students with at least three years work experience. Orientation for this year's program is scheduled for June 23 and 24.

Applications Being Accepted for MBA Program Offered in Dalton, GA
Northwest Georgia professionals interested in furthering their careers can apply for the Career Growth MBA program from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. Evening classes will be offered twice a week, Monday and Wednesday evenings, on the campus of Dalton State College starting in January. The application period for the five semester program is now open, and ends November 17.
