Anderson Schools to Offer GMAT Prep Course in March
The Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico will conduct a six-week GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) preparation program this spring. The Graduate and Executive Programs of the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics is sponsoring a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) practice test and strategy workshop beginning at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, in 125 Lerner Hall.
Students will take a GMAT practice test to diagnose skills from 5:30-8 p.m., break for dinner and then participate in the workshop for the remainder of the evening. The program will be presented by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.

Career Launcher, which offers coaching services to MBA aspirants, on Tuesday said it will float a 50:50 joint venture with US-based Veritas to introduce GMAT and GRE training programmes in Asia.
The company expects US$10 million as turnover from operations in Asia by 2011. The joint venture would initiate programme from Singapore, where it will be based and then gradually foray into other Asian countries like China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan with a product basket including test-prep for exams like GMAT, GRE, SAT, courses on English speaking and other region-specific exams.

Mobile GMAT Testing Center on the Natchez Campus
The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has launched a pilot program whereby a GMAT bus will visit 49 cities over a seven-month period to provide mobile sites for students to take the GMAT. The GMAT bus will be on the Natchez Campus on January 13 and 17, 2007.
