According to Ganesh Prabhu, chairperson , PG programme, IIM-B , Today, more girls want a lifetime career rather than a short-term job. This is why they are seen taking intensive programmes like those offered at the IIMs.
Even during the rigorous admission procedure that includes written exams, group discussions and personal interviews, management institutions now find that women students are surpassing their male counterparts. Of the 8,000 students who apply to fill 180 seats, we are finding that girls are more serious and committed . CHENNAI: The UGC grant for the new direction of the schools would lach Rs 50 per school in the 10th Period lach and Rs 15 for schools, N Jayasankaran, member of the Committee of the UGC staffing schools Management said Monday.
"The Committee has already completed its recommendation in this regard and led them to the planning commission," he told reporters.
