Columbia Business School’s Office of MBA Career Services to Become Career Management Center

Columbia Business School announced today it has renamed its Office of MBA Career Services to the Career Management Center (CMC). The Center incorporates both MBA Career Management and Executive MBA (EMBA) Career Management to provide a wide range of career preparation, career education and advising opportunities available to full-time MBA students and EMBA students.

The renaming reflects the Schools recent restructuring of its career management offerings, undertaken to further its commitment to preparing students to make informed decisions as they navigate their early careers as well as equipping them with life-long career management skills. The Center will also feature enhanced employer relations through closer collaborations with both recruiters and the Schools Alumni Relations office.

Led by Dean R. Glenn Hubbard, the Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics, Columbia Business School is at the forefront of management education for a rapidly changing world. The Schools cutting-edge curriculum bridges academic theory and practice, equipping students with an entrepreneurial mindset to recognize and capture opportunity in a competitive business environment. Beyond academic rigor and teaching excellence, the School offers programs that are designed to give students practical experience making decisions in real-world environments.
